TB Lowtone is a sophisticated bass synthesizer application and AUv3 / IAA plug-in that stands out for its cutting-edge features. Loudness-domain synthesis is pivotal to TB Lowtone's functionality. By employing innovative algorithms that adjust each harmonic individually, this feature mitigates inconsistencies in loudness and timbre caused by the complex relationship between frequency and loudness perception.

Modulation and effects are another area where TB Lowtone shines. It offers two extended low-frequency oscillators (X-LFOs) with a wide array of waveforms. These LFOs can be synchronized to beats and keys, with options for configurable onset delay and cycles to run. Furthermore, users have access to a conventional ADSR envelope with configurable onset delay and a gate editor tailored for modern production modulation patterns.

The app comes equipped with professional-quality effects such as reverb, chorus, delay effects, and a high-quality peak limiter to aid in creating polished sounds suitable for production.
